Opening of the Learning Commons in the Ho Sik Yee Library and Enhanced Learning Spaces in the Stanley Ho Library
The Library is pleased to announce that a new Learning Commons has been established in the Ho Sik Yee Library (5/F, Block E, Jockey Club Campus). It incorporates features catering for the latest and changing needs of our students, including zones for studying collaboratively or individually, and space that can be arranged flexibly for subject talks or workshops, and a cozy reading and refreshment corner.
New equipment such as internet workstations, colour and black & white network printers, and interactive whiteboards, are also installed to facilitate the learning activities of users. Please click here for details.
Two areas in the Stanley Ho Library have also been enhanced and refurbished. The Specialized Financial Databases and Internet Workstations Area located near the library entrance on 2/F has been refurbished with modern furniture to encourage collaborative learning. Students now also have more desk space for their works. To cater for the needs for group study and collaborative learning, a Collaboration Zone has also been set up on the 1/F of the Stanley Ho Library.
Please come and see the new look of the two campus libraries!
