30th Anniversary celebratory activities

Dear alumni,

As many of you have already known, the Open University of Hong Kong is celebrating our 30th Anniversary in 2019 and a wide variety of activities have been planned to commemorate the University’s growth and achievements over the years. Taking the opportunity, I sincerely invite you, as part of the OUHK family to take part in the celebration to share our joy.

Ever since our founding, the OUHK has nurtured over 120,000 graduates. Taking stock of how the University has grown and thrived, we are especially grateful to our strong body of alumni. Thanks to your faithful contributions in your own specific field, we have come to be widely recognized by the community. Yet we count on your support to keep the momentum going. On this jubilant occasion, the University announces the launch of the ‘Infinity 30’ campaign to raise funds for its long-term development and the Alumni Scholarship and Bursary Fund. You are encouraged to give in multiples of 30 across various suggested tiers. Depending on the donation tier, donors will be rewarded with specially designed anniversary souvenir(s), or the opportunity to name a scholarship or have their name engraved on the Donor Wall in the new complex under construction.

Let us join hands to move the University forward. I also look forward to your participation in our anniversary events, and to witnessing your alma mater make strides with you.

Professor Yuk-Shan Wong
President
