    Creative Arts graduates receive "Merit Award of The Best Animation (Start-ups) Award"

    Merit Award of The Best Animation (Start-ups) Award

    Three graduates from the 2017 and 2018 Animation and Visual Effects programme have founded an animation start-up called "Crow Picture Creations" and participated in this year's Animation Support Program (ASP). After a rigorous vetting of the applications by the committee, their proposal, along with nine other teams' work, were selected to receive a subsidy of HK$105,000 under the category of "Animation Star-ups". With the support and funding from the ASP, they have created an animation "Rabbit and Bear" and was presented with a Merit Award at the Award Presentation Ceremony held on 3 March.     Another group of OU students and graduates has also received funding from the ASP this year. They are CHEN Ka-ki, HON Yik-shing, Dicken LEUNG Tik-kan, LEUNG Wing-yin and WONG Yiu-wai. Their work titled "The Swing" could be viewed on: https://www.animation-ssp.com/en/project/the-swing/
