The Office for Advancement of Learning and Teaching (ALTO) organized the Learning and Teaching Week 2021 from 13 to 18 September. A series of seminars and sharing sessions by local and overseas guest speakers and experienced academic staff, as well as a wide variety of training activities were organized to existing and new HKMU teaching staff for exchanging ideas on effective pedagogy and gaining new insights on teaching.
The six-day Learning and Teaching Week also included an introduction of HKMU’s strategic academic development and focuses by the University management, a highlight of HKMU’s quality assurance framework, and set up of game booths for students to experience the in-house developed mobile learning apps.
To welcome the new full-time students and assist them to get familiar with HKMU, the Week also comprised inauguration ceremony and facility tour.
