    Aims

    The OUHK’s suite of business administration programmes provides our students with up-to-date practical skills and theoretical knowledge in business and management. The courses are specially designed to suit the business environment in Hong Kong and the Greater China region. They enable students to broaden their perspectives and prepare for their careers in business.

    BBA (Hons) Programmes

    For senior year entry, applicants must satisfy the following entry requirement:

    an Associate Degree / Higher Diploma (or its equivalent) in a business-related discipline from a tertiary institution recognized by the University;
    an Associate Degree / Higher Diploma (or its equivalent) in a non-business related area from a tertiary institution recognized by the University upon completion of a bridging programme* offered by OUHK.

    BIHAMHJ Programme

    For senior year entry, applicants must satisfy the following entry requirement:

    an Associate Degree / Higher Diploma (or its equivalent) in a business-related, a hospitality-related or a tourism-related area from a tertiary institution recognized by the University;
    an Associate Degree / Higher Diploma (or its equivalent) in a non-business, a non-hospitality or a non-tourism related area from a tertiary institution recognized by the University upon completion of a bridging programme* offered by OUHK.

    BSRMHJ Programme

    For senior year entry, applicants must satisfy the following entry requirement:

    an Associate Degree / Higher Diploma  (or its equivalent) in a business-related or a sports-related area from a tertiary institution recognized by the University;
    an Associate Degree / Higher Diploma (or its equivalent) in a non-business or a non-sports related area from a tertiary institution recognized by the University upon completion of a bridging programme* offered by OUHK.

    * Students may be required to take a bridging programme during Summer Term (June to August 2018).

    The School offers a suite of BBA (Hons) programmes which consists of eight programmes: Business Intelligence and Analytics, Business Management, Corporate Governance, Finance, Financial Technology and Innovation, Global Business and Marketing, Global Marketing and Supply Chain Management, and Professional Accounting. Apart from the BBA (Hons) programmes, the School offers Bachelor of International Hospitality and Attractions Management with Honours, Bachelor of Sports and Recreation Management with Honours, and a double degree programme, Bachelor of Applied Psychology with Honours, Bachelor of Business Management with Honours.

    Professional recognition and exemptions

    Our business programmes are recognized by a number of professional institutions. A range of exemptions has been granted to our students after they fulfil the requirements of relevant programmes.

    Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
    Association of International Accountants (AIA)
    Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute
    CPA Australia (CPAA)
    Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA)
    Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries (HKICS)
    Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Management (HKIHRM)
    Hong Kong Institute of Marketing (HKIM)
    Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA).

    English (supplemented by Cantonese as necessary)

    Duration of programme
    Year 1 entry: 4 years
    Senior Year Entry: 2 years (Applicants will be considered for admission to different years of the study programme depending on individual academic merits and other relevant factors.)
