RESODLAA is the electronic discussion List of ODLAA's Special Interest Group (SIG) on
Research. It was established in September 1993. It is based at the University of Southern
Queensland Distance Education Centre and hosted on a Unix machine of USQ. The Listowner/
moderator is the Co-ordinator of the SIG Research. The List provides avenue for subscribed
members to discuss issues relating to distance education and open learning. Reports of research by
members and postgraduate students are welcome. The List posts on a regularly basis an updated
version of the database on current and planned research activities in distance education and open
learning. This database, called the Distance Education Research News goes into a WWW format
by the end of 1996.
