| The arrangements for management of teaching-learning-of student admissions,
registration, tutorial and counseling services, examinations, and record keeping-will
depend on the structure and policies of the institution where the distance education unit
resides. Some institutions assign a single office responsibility for these functions for
both the institution as a whole and the distance education program. Others have a separate
office to oversee these functions for the distance education program.
