The Global Distance Education Network (Global DistEdNet) is a knowledge
sharing
initiative of the World Bank Group developed by the
Education and Technology
team in the Human Development Network.
The Centre for
Research in Distance & Adult Learning
(CRIDAL) of The Open
University of Hong Kong is the East Asia global partner
of
the Global DistEdNet.
CRIDAL oversees the identification, selection, collation,
development, publication,
maintenance and general management of the resource from East
Asia for the global
network.
The sharing of resources from East Asia on this network will be
multilingual including English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and other major
languages of the East Asia geographic area. To access and follow through
