The College of Full-time Studies is the home to some 31 degree programmes and two higher diploma programmes catering primarily for senior secondary school leavers of the 17-20 age group.

The Ho Man Tin Campus
The Open University of Hong Kong’s Ho Man Tin campus is the home base for the full-time programmes.  The Ho Man Tin premises include two 12-storey academic buildings with all the teaching facilities: lecture theatres, lecture halls, lecture rooms, seminar rooms, a library, computer laboratories, an audio-visual production centre, nursing laboratories, science and engineering laboratories, and language laboratories.

The campus also houses amenity facilities for students, including a multi-purpose hall.  The Students’ Union and the thirty or so student societies holds regular meetings, activities and functions on campus.  Our students also participate in a number of joint-university functions in Hong Kong.  The University, through the Student Affairs Office also offers support services to students: career development, career services, counselling, and coordination of summer placement, internships, scholarships and financial assistance, etc.

The Ho Man Tin campus has a canteen OU Club, and a food stall, The Noodles Bar (麵膳).  There is also a bank (Bank of China).  The Ho Man Tin campus also has an extension in the nearby Ho Man Tin Plaza, with a number of lecture rooms where some of the lectures and tutorials are held.

New Academic Structure under 334
In response to the curriculum reform in Hong Kong, we have restructured our degree programmes in preparation for the New Academic Structure under 334.  Starting from 2012, students taking the HKDSE examination will seek for admission to the 4-year honours degree programmes.

College Office
The offices of the College of Full-time Studies are on Level 5 of Block C in the Ho Man Tin campus.  We provide the following services to prospective and continuing students: admission; enrolment and examination.  We also act as the first point of contact for full-time undergraduates on all matters relating to their studies.
