| Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting |
Programme description
This programme develops students' professional competencies, and broadens
their knowledge of accounting and related disciplines. They acquire the basic
skills and knowledge required for general business management, and then are
introduced to financial accounting, management accounting, taxation, auditing,
law and accounting information systems. Graduates can seek employment as
professional accountants, or pursue careers in related fields such as auditing,
taxation and business advisory services.

Where a programme allows students to select additional courses from
outside the programme, students must check their selected courses against
the Excluded Combinations
list. Only one of the courses in an excluded combination can count
towards an OUHK award. |
Choosing the first courses to
get started
Undergraduate students taking the BBA programmes in English are
recommended to begin their BBA studies with one of the School's introductory
courses such as BUS B103 English and Communications for Business I,
BIS B123 Business Computing Applications, or BUS B171 Business
Statistics.
They are then free to complete a general degree, or to specialize
in a range of business disciplines.
