OU team takes part in reef check

An OUHK team formed by environmental studies graduates, led by Dean of the School of Science and Technology Prof. Ho Kin-chung, Assistant Lecturer Mr Wong Yee-keung and graduate Mr John Kwok Hon-wah, participated in the Hong Kong Reef Check 2011 organized by the Reef Check Foundation and the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department.

The reef check started in mid-2011 and lasted for three months. The OU team, joining the annual reef check for the first time, was assigned the site at Wong Ye Kok in Tung Ping Chau. Results of the reef check were announced at a presentation ceremony held at the OUHK on
3 December 2011.
