Fourteen students on distance learning courses went to Beijing on 2 April to learn more about Chinese defence history. The five-day study visit took in several frontier historic sites carefully selected by School of Arts and Social Sciences Associate Professor Dr Cheung Wai-kwok that are seldom included in the itinerary of guided tours, as well as Peking University. The event was organized by the Alumni Society of the School of Arts and Social Sciences.
