Heart-warming orientation activities

The repertoire of the Society of Accounting's on-campus orientation day not only included games, but also talks by representatives of accounting professional bodies. For details of upcoming activities such as the Global Management Challenge, please visit www.xanga.com/ssaouhk or email ouhkssa@gmail.com.

The Education Society's first O'Camp in Sai Kung had many memorable and touching moments for its participants, who built up their team spirit and friendship through different games and sharing sessions.

The Nursing Society took 'Nursing in Life' as the theme of its O'Camp. Participants were divided into groups and had to first complete some tasks before they were allowed to go inside the camp. Once in the camp, participants learned about the importance of teamwork and tolerance through various activities.

The O'Camp in Fanling put on by the Society of Business and Administration kicked off with a treasure hunt, and included many other indoor and outdoor activities. Following the Society's second hand book sale in August, activities such as ball games, a Christmas BBQ, a Lunar New Year booth and a mainland study tour will be organized.

Sixty students joined the Music Society's O'Camp in Tseung Kwan O to share the fun of music and to learn the basics of music theory. The camp's mini concert featured not only pop and classical music, but also some improvised performances.

Students who joined the Society of Social Sciences' O'Camp in Sai Kung were asked to find a 'treasure' in a supermarket and to take photos at various spots on campus to get to know the OUHK neighbourhood better. Such activities also strengthened their bonds and sense of solidarity.
