Mr Ben Wong, Lecturer, got his MPhil from the University
of Hong Kong (HKU). He has taught at the Hong Kong Academy
for Performing Arts, Polytechnic University (PolyU) and Lingnan
University. Mr Wong was a scriptwriter for films such as Wu
Yen and Help!!!, which was showcased at the Berlin
International Film Festival. His book Love Stories of Papa
and Mama was voted one of the Ten Best Books in 2005 in
a poll conducted by the Sun Hung Kai Properties Book Club.
His works have also been included in collections such as The
Best Short Stories of Hong Kong in the 20th Century. His
teaching areas are creative arts, contemporary Chinese literature
and literature/film studies.
Dr Carmen Lee, Lecturer in English and Linguistics,
completed her doctoral degree in Linguistics at Lancaster
University in England. She obtained her BA and MPhil from
HKU. Dr Lee was a Research Assistant at HKU, an Assistant
Language Instructor at the Hong Kong University of Science
and Technology, and a part-time tutor at the OUHK. She has
done research and published on social aspects of language
and literacy, particularly in the area of multilingualism
on the Internet. In her leisure time, she enjoys taking photos
and reading novels.
Dr Wong Chi-hung, Lecturer, has a BA and a PhD in
Contemporary Chinese Literature from HKU. He has previously
worked at HKU, the Hong Kong Institute of Education and the
Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) -- Tung Wah Group of
Hospitals Community College. He enjoys reading and playing
the guitar.

Shau Kee School of Business and Administration
Ms Shi Xuemei, Lecturer in Law, has an LLB from Fudan
University, Shanghai, China and an LLM from Boston University,
US. She previously taught at the Law School of the Shanghai
University of Finance and Economics. Ms Shi enjoys reading,
listening to music and travelling.
Dr Woo Ka-shing, Assistant Professor in Marketing,
has an MBA from the University of Stirling, UK and a PhD from
University of Nottingham, UK. Before joining the OUHK, he
taught at the Business School of Aston University. His research
areas include service quality and customer satisfaction. During
his leisure time, he loves watching musical performances and
playing football.
Dr William So, Lecturer in Marketing and Management,
was an executive in several multinational corporations responsible
for business development in Asia and has served as a part-time
tutor for postgraduate courses at the OUHK. A graduate of
the OUHK's Bachelor of Social Sciences programme, Dr So also
has an MA in Public Administration from the University of
Leicester, UK, an MBA from the University of Strathclyde,
UK, an MSc in Business Economics from CUHK and a DBA from
PolyU.

of Education and Languages
Mr Vincent Wong, Lecturer, has a BA (Hons) in English,
an MA in Linguistics and an MEd in Educational Management
and Curriculum Studies from CUHK, and is currently studying
for his EdD. He has taught at the secondary school and university
levels, served as a staff trainer, public exam assessor and
marker, as well as instructor for the HKSAR Education Bureau.
In his leisure time, Mr Wong has been invited to offer debate
and speech training for school teachers and students and to
serve as an adjudicator for territory-wide competitions organized
by the government and press.
Dr Jack Shu, Lecturer, has an MA and a PhD from the
University of Warwick, UK. He loves drama and learning from
other people's stories, so he is eager to include drama and
narratives in his teaching and research. Dr Shu has worked
as an editor for magazines and dictionaries, and as a teacher
and a researcher in adult and secondary education institutions,
including the HKSAR Education Bureau, mainly developing drama
curricula. Dr Shu also writes, translates and composes lyrics
for the stage and other media, and enjoys reading and going
to the theatre.
Dr Chan Chi-wai, Assistant Professor, obtained his
BSocSc (Hons), DipEd, MEd in Educational Administration, MA
in Christian Studies and EdD in Educational Policy from CUHK.
He has served as a School Development Officer and part-time
lecturer at CUHK; and as teacher, panel head and principal
of a secondary school. Dr Chan was also involved in training
aspiring school principals. His research interests include
school effectiveness, education finance, and educational planning
and development. Dr Chan enjoys reading on a variety of subjects.
