The Educational Technology and Publishing Unit recently won
a bid to produce an interactive package on intellectual property
rights for the Government's Education Bureau to raise awareness
of such rights and foster the informed use of copyright materials
on the Internet.
'The design of the package will help
students and teachers to acquire knowledge of intellectual
property rights relevant to the Internet in an interactive and
interesting way', said Eva Tsang, Project Manager. 'There will
be case studies in the form of stories, cartoons and video
clips presenting scenarios that young people will encounter in
everyday life.' The package, which will be completed by the
end of this year, will be suitable for teachers, senior
primary school and secondary school students, as well as
parents.
