The Master of Laws in Chinese Business Law, to be taught in Putonghua and start this October, is the first e-learning programme offered by the Centre for eLearning and the only e-learning programme in this subject area available. It was developed jointly by the School of Business and Administration, the Institute of Continuing Education of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Gallant Y T Ho & Co, Solicitors & Notaries.

The programme emphasizes practical applications of Chinese business laws from cross-border and comparative perspectives. It is particularly suitable for business professionals in Chinese-foreign joint ventures, managers and proprietors of non-government enterprises as well as those in small and medium-sized enterprises, according to Prof. Ip Yiu-keung, Dean of the School.
