Over
530 students were awarded certificates at the third graduation
ceremony of the Capacity Building Mileage Programme (CBMP)
held on 1 June. The figure was 65% more than that of last
year, and among the students 11 received a Level 5, the highest
certificate level. The programme was jointly launched by LiPACE,
the Women's Commission and Commercial Radio in March 2004
to promote learning among women. Officiating at the ceremony
were then Financial Secretary Mr Henry Tang, Secretary for
Health, Welfare and Food Dr York Chow, Women's Commission
Chair Ms Sophia Kao, Deputy Secretary for Education and Manpower
Mrs Betty Fung, Hong Kong Commercial Broadcasting Co Ltd General
