Aims
This course aims to:

Introduce students to the basic concepts needed for writing business reports and proposals, and delivering presentations;

Acquaint students with some theories of effective communication;

Introduce students to major business communication issues;

Provide students with the strategies and skills that are needed to apply communication theories and concepts to business-related communication;
-
Help students develop skills for communicating effectively in groups and in the employment process.

The course covers the following topics:

There will be 18 hours of tutorials.
Assessment
There are two tutor-marked assignments and one three-hour examination for the course. Students are required to do an oral presentation as part of the second assignment.
