Council changes and New academic staff

Council changes

Chairman of the Council Dr Eddy C Fong and Treasurer Mr Michael Wong Yick-kam have been reappointed for three years starting from June. New members Prof. Helen Meng Mei-ling, Mr Paul Chong Kin-lit and Dr Anna Yip will join the Council in June and serve for three years.

Current members Ms Virginia Choi Wai-kam, Mr Peter Wan Kam-to and Dr Samuel Yung Wing-ki have been reappointed for three years, Mr Eddy Lee Wai-man, Mrs Joanna Li Lau Lai-hing and Dr Kim Mak Kin-wah have been reappointed for two years, and Dr Susie Lum Shun-sui has been reappointed for one year, all starting from June. Students' Union President Mr Dickson Chau Tsun-yin took up his ex-officio position for one year beginning in April, in place of Mr Leung Lok-hang. We also bade farewell to Mr Bunny Chan Chung-bun, Ms Chiang Lai-yuen and Prof. Ching Pak-chung, and thank them for their service.


New academic staff

Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration

Mr Kevin Chu Wing-ki, Lecturer in Business Communication, is a graduate of the City University of Hong Kong, the University of Hong Kong and the Chinese University of Hong Kong, having majored in Teaching English as a Second Language, English Language Education and Corporate Communication respectively. His work experience and entrepreneurship journey cover tourism, health care, performing arts and corporate training. He has taught at various universities in Hong Kong for over ten years and has published a number of books and articles in journals.
