This is a scheme to enable applicants to highlight their non-academic achievement or extra-curricular activities that may not otherwise be captured in the JUPAS application form. The University participates in the JUPAS Self Recommendation Scheme with an aim to give due recognition to JUPAS applicants who have outstanding achievement in extra-curricular activities.

All OUHK programmes under the JUPAS scheme will participate in the Scheme.

Eligibility

To be eligible for consideration under the Scheme, applicants should have satisfied the following criteria:

• selected one or more OUHK programmes as their Band A choices after the reprioritization exercise; and
• fulfilled the University general entrance requirements as well as the entrance requirement of the chosen programme(s).

Assessment

The information submitted by applicants under the Self Recommendation Scheme and through the JUPAS will be considered together with their public examination results. Candidates selected under the Scheme will be given a higher priority in the merit order list in the JUPAS iteration process.

Announcement of Results

Application results will be announced by the JUPAS Office. There will be no separate result announcement for the Scheme.
