Recent and Upcoming Events

This section summarizes recent activities and upcoming events in the University. To encourage academic colleagues to participate in research-related activities and share research findings, a wide range of seminars and public lectures have been organized. In this issue, six seminars and two public lectures by Distinguished Professors on contemporary Chinese and Western culture were held by the School of Arts and Social Sciences; and two Distinguished Professors from the Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration shared their views on good laboratory practice and management research. Also, a seminar on deep learning was held by the School of Science and Technology, and the School of Education and Languages conducted two seminars to examine the correlations and adaptations of different languages. In addition, during this period, the Research Office has continued to help academic staff to conduct research by providing seminars on preparing proposals and data analysis.

There will soon be more opportunities to meet with scholarly experts for collaborations and research exchange. For example, RIDCH will organize an exhibition and a public seminar on the Le French May Associated Project. Also, there will be three lectures by Distinguished Professors from IROPINE and the School of Arts and Social Sciences, and a workshop on using the Web of Science tools for research.
