No, but there will be information sessions prior to application that you can attend and seek advices.

Will I be eligible to apply for exemption if I studied in Baron School of Music (BSM) before?

Yes. Students may apply for exemption if he/she studied in BSM before. Graduates from BSM will be granted exemption for the following courses.

Do I have to pay for extra makeup supplies?

Yes. Participants are expected to spend approximately HK$ 2,000 to HK$ 5,000 to buy extra make up equipments and supplies during the study (e.g. brush, eye shadow, or face paint, etc).

有。申請者需參與入學面試，從而編排入讀適合程度的課程。申請者需繳交$100報名費，成功入讀學員將獲退還報名費。
面試將會由現場樂隊伴奏面試學員演唱，讓導師了解報名者粵劇曲藝水平，並給予入學建議。

Should I prepare my own camera during classes?

Yes. Participants are required to have a SLR (Single Lens Reflex) digital or film camera for all courses. The SLR can be either manual or autofocus, but a manual camera is strongly advised.

Do I have to pay for extra photography supplies?
　

Yes. Participants are expected to spend from HK$ 200 to HK$ 500 to buy extra photographic supplies (e.g. film and photographic paper) for their own use in each course.

What are the prospects of wedding planners in Hong Kong?

With a continuous increase in wedding expenses, wedding business is flourishing in Hong Kong. More and more couples tend to seek the professional expertise of a wedding planner to plan for their wedding. Quite a lot of brides and grooms are also far too busy to be able to actually organize such a mega event, hence, the needs for a professional wedding planner are boosting in Hong Kong.

I’ve good experience in event management, what extra do I need to learn to become a wedding planner?

Not any event planner can organize a good wedding. Weddings are an emotional event that must be dealt with sensitively and wedding planning requires training and expertise on wedding etiquette and excellent communication skill to liaise with various parties.

What professional recognition can I get after the study?

Upon completion of the programme, graduates can apply for the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC) Qualified Examination. After passing the examination, graduates are entitled as “Assistant Bridal Planner” and on the pathway to become “Master Bridal Consultant”.

What are the credentials of American Bridal Association?

American Bridal Association is the oldest and largest organization over the world and the members are exclusively serving wedding professionals. Head Office of ABC is located in Connecticut in U.S. and they have been training wedding coordinators since 1955. Currently, the Association has almost 5,000 certified members in 32 countries over the world including North & South America, Europe, Africa, Australia and Asian Countries.
